Sim Racing Championship
Now in its second season, the Club’s Sim Racing Championship is an opportunity for members to try their hand at circuit racing from the comfort of the Club. All members are welcome, whether an experienced Sim Racer, or just keen to give it a go!
Last year’s inaugural Championship was a triumph, with two Heats held at Pall Mall. Each driver in the Heats set timed laps around Donington Park, with the hope of making it through to the Grand Final in London Motor Week. The Final consisted of the top twenty drivers from each Heat setting timed laps around Monza, before the top four competed against each other in head-to-head races. Finally, the top two drivers contested in one final head-to-head, and in the end Freddie Wiltshire was crowned Sim Racing Champion.
This year, the Club is hosting four separate Heats, with two taking place in the Long Bar in Pall Mall, and two in the Motor House at Woodcote Park. Drivers will once again set timed laps, with the top five from each Heat progressing to the Final, once again held during London Motor Week. The pressure is truly on for our Sim Racers…
