Visiting the Walled Garden
The Walled Garden is the purpose-built facility at Woodcote Park designed for children and their families.
Indoors you can enjoy the use of a 15m children’s pool, a water confidence play area, a soft play area and a junior lounge.
The outdoor play equipment is divided into distinct areas for different age groups and the two multi-use games areas and large lawn provide plenty of space for burning off some energy.
The original Gardener’s Cottage has also been restored to provide an ideal space for a variety of classes and activities. It is also available to book for birthday parties.
Opening times
The Walled Garden is open 9.00am to 8.00pm every day. Last entry to the swimming pool is at 7.00pm with the pool and outdoor splash pads closing at 7.45pm. The Garden Café closes at 8.00pm with last orders at 7.00pm.
Please note, from Tuesday 1 October until Monday 31 March 2025, the external facilities in the Walled Garden, including the outdoor splash pads and MUGA (Multi Use Games Area), will close at 5.00pm throughout the autumn and winter months.

Facilities
The main building in the Walled Garden includes a 15m children’s pool and a shallow water confidence play area that has sprays, bubbles and waterfalls to entertain the youngest children. The changing rooms are designed with young families in mind with cubicles of various sizes.
This main building also contains a soft play area, a children’s lounge and a small café.
The outdoor play equipment is divided into distinct areas for different age groups and the two multi-use games areas provide surfaces suitable for junior sports such as football, basketball and tennis, whether in organised sessions or for informal play.
The water fun also continues outside, with a splash playground where jets of water and brightly coloured fountains are a magnet for excited children on sunny days. Directly in front of the building is a large lawn, perfect for children to run around and play games on.
The other building in the Walled Garden is the Gardener’s Cottage, fully restored and now providing the ideal space for birthday parties and other activities.
