Please be aware the busier times are as follows:
Weekdays: 6.30-8.00am, 9.00-11.00am and 4.30-7.00pm
Weekends: 9.30am-12 noon and 4.00-6.00pm
Adult Swimming Training
Training sessions are run at Woodcote Park every Wednesday evening (7.00pm to 8.00pm) so whether you are training for a big swim or simply looking to improve your technique, please come along and give it a try. All abilities are welcome.
Training varies but includes stroke improvement, sprint or endurance based training and strength training. The objective is to improve each participants’ swimming by focusing on their individual strengths and weaknesses, enabling them to achieve their personal goals.
Adult Swimming Lessons
Are you unable to swim but always wished you could or would you like to brush up on your technique and improve your fitness? Adult swimming lessons provide a professional and positive approach to teaching using a variety of techniques to help you achieve your goals.

Children aged 9 and over may use the Cedars Pool during Open Swim and Family Swim sessions. Younger children may use the pool during these sessions if they are able to swim a length (30m) unaided, which is in line with the Swim England Stage 4 Award.
To enable families with mixed ages and abilities enjoy a swim together, the Family Swim sessions from 3.00pm to 4.30pm on Saturdays and Sundays are designated as ‘All Age Family Swim’ sessions. These sessions are open to all ages, irrespective of swimming ability.
During school holidays, All Age Family Swim Sessions also take place between 3.00-4.30pm each Wednesday.
All non-swimmers must be accompanied by a competent adult swimmer in the water, with a maximum ratio of two non-swimming children to one adult.
Children under 13 years must be accompanied by an adult swimmer at all times. Whilst in the pool, they must maintain a constant watch over the children for whom they are responsible and be in close contact with weak or non-swimmers in their care.
Junior members aged 13 years and over who are competent swimmers may use the pool unsupervised.
