Club operations are now virtually back to normal and we are delighted to see so many members in the clubhouses.
Although the restrictions have been lifted, we are extremely aware that the pandemic is not over and that we must ensure the Club remains a safe environment. For the time being we will retain social distancing between tables in our restaurants and hand sanitisers are available. Of course, if you have any potential COVID symptoms, please do not come to the Club.
The wearing of masks in any area of the Club is now optional and there are no restrictions on the number of people who may gather. Banqueting, events and the Activity Groups are all returning to normal.
You are now also able to order drinks at the outdoor bars but we will be continuing with table service only for the indoor bars.
Bookings are no longer required if you wish to use:
- the pool, gym, Turkish Baths, Library, Simms Centre hot desks, the Drawing Room, Cocktail Bar, Club Room or Long Bar at Pall Mall;
- the pool, gym, Walled Garden (except the pool at weekends), Lounge, Spike Bar or Hurricane Bar at Woodcote Park.
Whilst we have removed the need to book in these sports areas, information about the busiest times is shown on the website page about each facility so that you may visit at a quieter time if you prefer.
The Sunday buffet in the Cedar Room has resumed in the traditional format and the Long Bar buffet will resume from Friday 1 October, after the Long Bar’s summer closure ends on Monday 6 September.
