Sub-Aqua Christmas Dinner

Sub-Aqua Christmas Dinner

Pall Mall, Committee Room
Thursday 17 December, 7.00pm

This year, we are delighted to bring an unmissable highlight of the Sub-Aqua calendar. Our traditional black-tie Christmas Dinner will be set in the elegant surroundings of the Mountbatten Room at Pall Mall.

We are thrilled to welcome a very high profile and truly inspiring guest speaker, Chris Lemons. A saturation diver, catapulted into the global spotlight with the Topaz Incident. He is renowned for one of the most extraordinary survival stories in modern diving history. Following a freak accident in the North Sea, he was left stranded on the seabed at a depth of 100 metres without heat, light, or breathing gas for an astonishing 44 minutes.

Against all odds, he survived.

Chris will take us behind the scenes of this remarkable event, sharing his first-hand account of resilience, decision-making under extreme pressure and the reality of deep-sea commercial diving.

The evening will, of course, retain all the elements we cherish: a sparkling Champagne reception, a beautifully curated three-course dinner and our annual prize giving, making this a night not to be missed.

Save the date now, further details to follow shortly.
