Birthday Parties
Welcome to Birthday Parties in the Walled Garden! Let the Club take the strain of organising your child’s birthday party so that you can enjoy it almost as much as they do. Based in the Gardener’s Cottage and making full use of the facilities in the Walled Garden, we can create a party tailored to your requirements.























We offer a choice of three party packages but we would be happy to discuss any specific requirements you have.
The maximum party size is twenty children and the minimum is ten (although we are able to accommodate fewer children per party for a small surcharge).
Choose from a variety of party decoration themes which includes balloons, birthday banners, party plates, napkins and cups. Adult guests are also welcome (maximum of 25 adults due to space restrictions) with a range of adult food and drinks options available.

Monkey Party Package
- Free play in the Walled Garden using all our indoor and outdoor facilities (excluding the swimming pool)
- Exclusive use of the Gardener’s Cottage for the duration of the party

- Recommended age: under 5 years

Shark Party Package
- Pool party and free play in the Walled Garden using all our indoor and outdoor facilities
- Birthday child goes free
- Hosted by our professional swim coach
- Exclusive use of the Gardener’s Cottage for the duration of the party
- Personalised music playlist of the birthday child’s favourite songs
- Party food from our party menu
- Recommended age: 8 years +
- More than twelve children will require an additional swimming coach at £30.00

Lion Party Package
- Two activities of your choice chosen from our activities list

- A dedicated party host

Birthday Party Frequently Asked Questions
- How much time do I have in the party room?
Two and a half hours. - Can I purchase additional food for adults?
Yes, the café is available for guests to purchase additional food. Alternatively, you can pre-order adult sandwich platters. - Can I bring my own cake?
You are more than welcome to bring your own cake. - Can we change the food that is included?
The food options we offer cannot be amended. - Do you cater for allergies?
Yes. We are able to accommodate special dietary requirements only. Please be aware that we are not a nut free facility so some food items may contain traces of nuts. Please give us as much notice as possible. - Do the parents have to stay if we have a party host?
Parents are more than welcome to stay with their children should they feel this is necessary. However, there may be space constraints in the party room. We suggest children under the age of five should be accompanied by a parent. For children six years and over, we recommend that parents drop and-go unless they feel that their child may not be comfortable without them there. - Do I need to pay a deposit?
You do not need a deposit to secure your booking. However, full payment is required three weeks prior to the party once we have received final confirmation of your party package, the total
number of guests attending and whether you require any party extras. - Can I change the number of guests after I have confirmed the party?
Final numbers need to be confirmed two weeks before the party. Any numbers cancelled after this time will still be charged. - What is the cancellation policy?
Cancelling the party within one week of the event will incur the full charge. - When is the booking confirmed?
The booking is confirmed once a member of the Walled Garden Team contacts you to confirm your party has been booked. - How many adult guests can I bring?
Due to space restrictions in the Gardener’s Cottage, the Club can only accommodate up to a maximum of 25 adult guests per party. - Can a child guest bring a sibling to the party?
Yes. Please inform the Walled Garden Team in advance of any additional guests. Guest siblings aged 2 years and over may attend the party, which will incur the cost of an additional party guest. Siblings under 2 years old may attend free of charge.
Terms and Conditions
- Bookings can only be made by a Full Member or by a non-member when sponsored by a Full Member.
- The Club reserves the right to cancel the event, course, or session that you have enrolled on to up to 24 hours before the start time. You will not be charged in this event.
- Any birthday reservation we take can be cancelled at no charge up until seven days before date of visit to the Club.
- Free of charge changes to the booking are taken at the discretion of Club staff within two weeks of the event itself
- Parental supervision within the Walled Garden facility is mandatory for the duration of the birthday party. There must be at least one adult associated with the party.
- Due to space restrictions in the Gardener’s Cottage, the Club can only accommodate up to a maximum of 25 adults per party.
- All personal information given to facilitate the running of the children’s programmes will be protected under the Club’s GDPR protocol.
- It is taken as consent for the children to take part in all activities at the point of member confirmation of the party request.
- The Club and external contractors will have first aid trained staff available for events, courses, and sessions. All medical information should be disclosed prior to the child attending an event with accurate emergency contact information clear and current. Medicines such as inhalers and epi-pens can be stored on site during the day but must be taken home at the end of each day. This is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to organise.
- The Club and its sessions, courses and events are not nut-free, nor are there any other dietary items banned. If any persons attending the site have these allergies, please consider that they may be exposed to food allergens.
