1953 JAGUAR C-TYPE
Tuesday 22 September – Tuesday 6 October
The C-type established Jaguar as a dominant force in sports-car racing, famously winning Le Mans twice, in 1951 and 1953. Built alongside the 1953 factory racers as the penultimate customer car, the one on display this week enjoyed a successful competition career in Scandinavia. Now restored to road-going specification in its period Finnish racing livery of white and blue, it won the Best in Show accolade at the Club’s Concours in July.

1965 FERRARI 275 GTS
Tuesday 6 – Tuesday 13 October
Unveiled in 1964, the elegant Ferrari 275 GTS combined V12 performance with timeless Pininfarina styling. With 260bhp on tap and a 150mph top speed, it delivered Ferrari thrills, wrapped in one of the most sophisticated open-top designs of its era. The example on display this week is the 61st of just 200 built, wearing its factory-correct Rosso Cina red over beige leather.
It will be heading to the RM Sotheby’s London sale on Saturday 31 October at The Peninsula London, which sits at the end of the Club’s London Motor Week.
