The Mercedes F1 W05 Hybrid spearheaded the Silver Arrows’ 2014 Formula 1 campaign at the dawn of the sport’s turbo-hybrid era. One of the most successful cars in F1 history, it claimed 16 victories from 19 Grands Prix and secured the Constructors’ World Championship, while Sir Lewis Hamilton won the Drivers’ title after a dramatic, season-long battle with teammate Nico Rosberg.
1923 ALFA ROMEO RL TARGA FLORIO

On display was the Alfa Romeo RL chassis No. 01 – the prototype of one of the marque’s most important early racing cars. Assigned to 25-year-old Enzo Ferrari for the 1923 season, he raced it at Mugello before claiming victory at Savio. It was there that Ferrari received the now-famous ‘Cavallino Rampante’ (Prancing Horse) shield for good luck, while this very car was also the first to wear Alfa Romeo’s iconic Quadrifoglio (four-leaf clover) – making it the origin of two legendary symbols of Italian motorsport.
