Apply for Full Membership

The formal elections process is for applicants to apply online and be proposed and seconded by two existing Full Members, who have been members of the Club for at least a year.

Once we receive a fully completed application you will be placed on the waiting list. Currently, you should anticipate waiting around fourteen to sixteen months to reach the top of the list. This time will be shorter if you are the child or spouse / partner of an existing member and are living at the same address.

Once your application reaches the top of the waiting list, it will be reviewed by our Elections Committee, who may invite you in for a short meeting as part of their assessment of your application.

However, if you do not know two existing members, please contact our Membership Team who will be able to advise you on the process and requirements for applying without the required referrals. Before we can advise you on the possibility of applying for membership using this exceptional route, you must seek a proposer and seconder through all possible methods. This includes, but is not limited to, all social circles; activity groups or organisations that you are a member of; work associates and family relations. Should you then still meet these exceptional requirements, the Club does only accept a limited number of applications through this route per year and the waiting list is longer for these applications.

Making an Application

To apply for membership, please click on the ‘Apply for Membership’ link to the bottom of this page and complete the online form. Please note that the application must be completed by the candidate personally and we do require one application form per person applying. It is essential that the application form is completed as comprehensively as possible.

The Waiting List

Please note that the Full Member spouse / partner benefits are only applicable to two adults who are in a relationship and are living at the same address.

As soon as your application is complete and the Club has received feedback from your proposer and seconder, you will be able to take advantage of six applicant ‘day passes’ (three for Pall Mall and three for Woodcote Park), which will allow you to make use of the facilities at the clubhouses. This includes the use of restaurants, sports facilities, accommodation and holding events at the Club. In addition, you will be kept up to date on Club developments with the quarterly candidate’s newsletter and, from time to time, will be invited to attend exclusive Club events.

Subscription Payments

The membership year runs from 1 January until 31 December. The annual subscription payment is taken by Direct Debit at the beginning of January each year.
