Catriona Wood is a contemporary artist based in London, known for her floral and sea paintings, now in homes and hotels across the UK, Europe, South Africa, Australia, and the USA.
Influenced by the Impressionists, Catriona’s style is loose, expressive, and textured. She paints quickly with acrylics, building up visible brushstrokes and layers. Her work has been featured in House & Garden and British Vogue magazines. She has also advertised on the London Underground, and Netflix recently bought one of her original works for a US-based production.
Catriona exhibits in galleries and shows in and out of London, where she sells her original acrylic paintings and limited-edition prints. She also accepts commissions. Highlights of her first year as a full-time artist include exhibiting at: The Affordable Art Fair, Battersea; The Other Art Fair, Shoreditch; Henley Festival, Berkshire and her solo shows in galleries in Marylebone, Chelsea and Hampton Court.
Catriona studied a foundation diploma in Art & Design in Falmouth, and a degree in Graphic Design in Edinburgh and Boston (USA). Her time living in France and Australia, along with frequent travel, continues to influence her work.
After five years working as a management consultant in London—feeling uninspired and short on time to create—Catriona left corporate life in 2024 to pursue painting full-time. Her solo exhibition at the Royal Automobile Club’s Picture Gallery marks her 10th show in just 500 days as a full-time artist.

BEX is an internationally acclaimed and award-winning automotive Artist whose work is collected by celebrity car collectors, legendary rally champions, and world-famous racing drivers. Her highly exclusive bespoke creations are proudly owned by motorsport icons such as Sir Jackie Stewart, Mika Häkkinen, Derek Bell MBE, Paddy Hopkirk MBE, Sir Frank Williams from Williams Racing, as well as high-profile personalities including Theo Paphitis (Dragons’ Den), Mike Brewer (Wheeler Dealers) and Fuzz Townshend (Car SOS).
BEX is also one of the only Artists to have collaborated with the original cast of the 1969 Italian Job movie in a special celebration of the iconic British movie. BEX has immortalised some of motorsport’s most iconic moments on canvas – often creating personal, one-of-a-kind pieces for drivers themselves and collaborating with racing legends on rare, limited edition works. Each artwork is instantly recognisable for its bold pop art style and signature three-dimensional texture, creating a vibrant and powerful ‘WOW factor’ that makes cars appear to leap straight off the canvas.
The collections BEX creates are as exclusive as they are striking – ranging from unique originals to strictly limited editions, with series as small as five pieces and never more than sixty-nine. Collectors often seek a specific edition number, becoming part of the close-knit ‘BEX Family’, a global community that BEX personally welcomes and values. Beyond her art’ BEX herself is a true original – a classic Mini owner who blends the glamour of a sixties Marilyn Monroe aesthetic with the skill and vision to bring speed and style vividly to life in art.
Her thick, sculptural brushstrokes reveal every stage of the creative process, transforming blank canvas into dynamic masterpieces that pulse with motion, colour, and character. With BEX Official Art, you do not just own a painting – you own a piece of racing history, captured forever in her unmistakable style.
