Both the Men’s and Ladies’ Captains held their Farewell Scrambles over the last week with 132 men playing on Saturday and 66 ladies playing yesterday on the Old Course to celebrate Andy Macfarlane and Sarah Kingsbury’s year in captaincy.
This year’s winning men’s team was Ian Richardson, Stacey Sheldon, James Steiner and Bill Wilcox with a winning Nett score of 56 and the winning ladies’ team was Jo Atkins, Julie Clark, Petrica Harmsworth and Susan Tuke with a nett score of 62. Both teams are pictured above with Andy and Sarah.
Following the golf on both days a two-course meal was served in the Cedar Room followed by prize presentation for selected Honours Board winners this year.

On Saturday, he auction following the presentation raised over £5,000 for the Captains Charity, The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
