With Oktoberfest taking place in Germany, the Long Bar is holding its own British mini festival! Why travel abroad when you can celebrate the best of British breweries on your doorstep?

Call in and choose from thirteen carefully selected beers from across England, Scotland and Wales such as ‘Jemima’s Pitchfork’, ‘South Hams Wild Blonde’ and ‘Skinners Jingle Knocker’.

Abbeydale Deception 4.1%
A light, crisp and refreshing New Zealand-style pale ale from Sheffield, known for its distinctive citrus and white grape flavours. 

Bath Ales Gem 4.1%
Gem has a rich aroma of hops and malt and a long, deep, bittersweet finish. An exceptional best bitter brewed using floor malted Maris Otter barley and Goldings hops from East Kent.

Bowness Bay Swan Blonde 4%
Swan Blonde from Cumbria, is a delicious, light and crisp pale ale. It is bursting with flavour, thanks to the extra pale malts and hops with a citrusy and tropical fruit profile.

Brains Rev James 4.5%
It is based on a recipe from 1885 and brewed in honour of the legendary Reverend James Buckley who took over the Llanelli brewery in 1824. The Rev. James Original is from Cardiff and has a mellow malty flavour that unexpectedly gives way to a clean, refreshing finish. Brewed using exclusive Buckleys’ yeast, this award-winning ale will save your soul and satisfy your thirst.

Butcombe Gold 4.4%
Gold is a beer to treasure. Made in Bristol with a blend of Caramalt and Marris Otter Malt and brewed using lashings of English Fuggles Hops.

Fyne Ales Jarl 3.8%
Ruling proudly over Glen Fyne in Scotland and beyond, Jarl is a session blonde ale. A showcase for American hop, Citra, Jarl delivers waves of fruity citrus flavours and a clean finish.

GBC Jemima’s Pitchfork 4.5%
Named after Jemima Nicholas who singlehandedly ended the 1797 Battle of Fishguard using only a pitchfork, this award-winning golden ale from Wales is a proper cult classic.

GBC Thunderbird 4.5%
Named after the Red Kites which are often spotted soaring in the skies above our brewery, Thunderbird is a proper Welsh IPA: complex, finely honed and refreshingly bitter.

Long Man Long Blonde 3.8%
A light-coloured golden ale from Sussex, with a distinctive hoppy aroma and crisp clean bitterness on the finish. Smooth light and refreshing.

S Neame Spitfire 4.2%
The glowing amber of this premium Kentish ale has aromas of tangy malt, soft raisins and sweet oranges.

Skinners Jingle Knocker
Jingle Knocker, from Cornwall, is generously laced with rich fruity Christmas cake flavours, balanced by savoury cedar and spice notes.

South Hams Wild Blonde 4.4%
A golden coloured beer from Devon that is seriously refreshing. The light beer is overflowing with fruit in the palette; Styrian and Goldings hops are unmistakeable in its distinctive fruity aroma.

St Austell Proper Job 4.5%
An authentic IPA from Cornwall, packed full of citrus, pineapple and grapefruit flavours. A big bold strong beer with a crisp bitter finish.

The Long Bar is open from Monday to Friday and is for walk-ins only. No booking is required.

Lunch Service: 12.00-2.45pm (last orders 2.45pm)
Dinner Service: 6.00-10.00pm (last orders 10.00pm)
Bar Service: 11.30am-midnight (last orders 11.45pm)
