The Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team’s 2020 livery is formally unveiled alongside the Team’s new partnership with INEOS.
On display is a 2019 Mercedes-AMG F1 W10 EQ Power+ showcar, painted in the new colour scheme for the upcoming 2020 season.
The familiar silver, green and black colours remain, but are joined by INEOS’s signature shade of burgundy. The new burgundy accents will feature on the front wing endplates, roll hoop and rear wing endplates.
This showcar represents not only the exciting new livery and the new partnership with INEOS, but also what the Team achieved during the course of the 2019 season – winning 15 races, scoring 32 podiums, 10 pole positions, 9× 1-2 finishes all of which led the Team to claiming both FIA Formula One World Championships™ for a sixth consecutive time, something no other Formula One team has ever achieved.
While this new livery is unveiled here, this season’s new car – the W11 – will be formally revealed this Friday, February 14th; where the 2020 challenger will undertake its first shakedown at the Silverstone Circuit.
This vehicle has been placed in the rotunda to celebrate the announcement of Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team’s new partnership with INEOS, held at the Royal Automobile Club.
