‘Topping Out’ Ceremony in The Walled Garden

The new family facilities in the Walled Garden have passed another critical milestone with the steel frame of the new building now complete. To mark this achievement, as is tradition, a ‘Topping Out’ ceremony was held on Tuesday 17 September.

In glorious sunshine the Club Chairman, Ben Cussons and Graham White, Chairman of the Woodcote Park Committee, ceremonially tightened the final bolts and the Club’s Board were given a tour of the site to view progress. Click here to view the gallery.

The Walled Garden will open at Easter, providing a range of indoor and outdoor facilities including a swimming pool, play equipment, games areas and a café. A wonderful addition to our stunning grounds and existing facilities, it will be a major step forward in developing Woodcote Park as centre for sport and leisure which appeals to the broadest possible range of members, of all ages.
