The Cycling 50 mile ride programme

Would you like to improve your fitness and stamina in 2022 or do you enjoy cycling but find longer distances a struggle or do you simply want to get to know other like minded members. A new programme for developing and intermediate cyclists could be your perfect solution. Following the recent article in Pell Mell & Woodcote, I am going to run a programme for members who would like to try and reach the 50 mile target.

This programme will run from March 2022 and slowly build up from about 20 miles to the dizzy heights of 50 miles. We will do this in well managed incremental stages at a pace that most members should find agreeable and the group will be encouraged to stop for snacks coffee and other refreshments as required to make this group as much about social cycling as about conquering mileage.
