I feel I just have to send you a brief note to say how marvellous it was to step into Pall Mall again yesterday – to see so many familiar staff faces who greeted me like a long lost friend. Goodness knows when things will get back to normal but I have mastered the booking arrangements which work well and am back again twice next week so at long last I have something to put in my diary.

Everyone, from the sports complex reception to the team that looked after us at lunch at the Fountain Brasserie and for tea in The Lounge, could not have been more helpful and reassuring. We felt very safe and were impressed by the contact tracing system and the safely features in place. We shall certainly be back soon.
Club members are very lucky to have such a dedicated and helpful team to ensure membership of the Club can be enjoyed to the full. The staff really have gone above and beyond as we all adjust to the new world. I am sure things are not always easy and no doubt there is lots of action ‘under the water line’ but, on the surface, to the outside world, the team are like a graceful swan gently gliding along. Well done to them all and their managers.
I just wanted to get in touch to say how well the whole Pall Mall team did at the weekend when we returned for an important family event in London.
The whole ‘customer journey’ had been well thought through with helpful and engaging communications, especially the on-brand road signs to remind and to advise.
Our room was a delightfully cool haven after the rigours of the journey. My wife enjoyed two extended lane swims, my daughter and I the full gym workout and we all enjoyed memorable cocktails and postprandials in the bar on Saturday night. Sunday’s breakfast was also very special – a wonderful spread with superbly attentive service.
In these challenging times, it was good to be back in the clubhouse and to enjoy its unique hospitality delivered by such tremendous people.
We much look forward to our next visit
We have just returned from Woodcote Park following our two-night stay and we both wanted to express our sincere thanks to everyone at the Club for making this stay superb. Throughout our visit every member of staff that we met displayed a remarkable happy and positive attitude which contributed to our delightful first ‘freedom’ experience since lockdown.
The handling of the current situation was superb and is a clear demonstration of the positive and professional training delivered by the Club.
We had a great time and will be returning soon.
We could not fail to be impressed by the absolute commitment we saw from all members of staff at the Club when we stayed overnight recently, for the first time since the lockdown.
From the initial greeting by the doorman and staff in the lobby as we unloaded our luggage , to the welcome we received later in the Cocktail Bar and subsequently in the Great Gallery and Brooklands Room, the staff were all total professionals and great ambassadors for the Club.
The standards are still the best of any club in London. If anything, we sensed a special welcome during our visit and I wanted to convey my thanks to the staff for making our visit as near normal as possible.
