Change of Government Restrictions in London

London has moved to ‘Tier 2’ COVID-19 restrictions, which will affect the services available at Pall Mall.

Woodcote Park is not affected by these changes and the current arrangements will continue, including up to six people from different households being allowed to meet for social purposes.

The changes at Pall Mall have been determined by the new Government rules and the feedback we have received from members on how they will affect their use of Pall Mall. The new arrangements will be reviewed after four weeks or sooner if any circumstances change.

ACCOMMODATION

Only members or guests from a single household or support bubble may stay in each room.

Room service will be available until 10.00pm for food and 11.00pm for drinks.

RESTAURANTS, BARS AND LOUNGES

Only members or guests from a single household or support bubble may dine together or gather socially. Please note that in this scenario, the numbers are not restricted to six individuals.

The Brooklands Room will continue to operate seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Great Gallery and Cocktail Bar will only be open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, from 5.30pm until 10.00pm.

The Club Room will remain open seven days a week, from 8.00am until 10.00pm. The Club has queried if the rule of six would apply to the Club Room Terrace and we are waiting clarification. For the moment, the single household rule will also apply to the external areas.

In the Long Bar, service will be available via a call system and will be provided from the Club Room. Please note that informal business meetings will not be permitted during this period.

SPORTS AND ACTVITIES

Squash: Adult players must be from the same household or support bubble (squash bubbles are no longer permitted). There is no change to the current arrangements for Juniors (aged 17 or under). One to one coaching may continue for any age.

Snooker, Chess etc.: Only players from the same household or support bubble may play each other.

Turkish Baths: It is still intended to open the Turkish Baths from Monday 26 October.
