Woodcote Junior Membership (0-12)

Woodcote Juniors receive a wide range of benefits and discounts – and it is the start of your child’s, grandchild’s, niece’s or nephew’s journey to full Club membership. When they turn 13 they can become Junior Members and then, at 18, Full Members.

• Free of charge use of the Walled Garden and Cedars Sports.
• Priority booking for an expanded Activity Camps programme and a 15 per cent discount.
• Free of charge golf.
• Priority booking and 15 per cent discount for all children’s events in an expanding programme.
• Membership card, birthday card and book of vouchers.

The Walled Garden and Cedars Sports

The new Walled Garden family facility – with its children’s pool, café and wide range of indoor and outdoor play areas – will be available to Woodcote Juniors to use free of charge, as often as they want, at any time of year.

Even after the Walled Garden has opened, Cedars Sports will continue to be available free of charge to Woodcote Juniors attending classes and, at certain times, to those who have reached a suitable level of proficiency in a sport. Non-Woodcote Juniors will be charged a guest fee for each visit of £8.00 (3 and 4-year-olds) or £12.00 (5 to 12-year-olds), including when they attend any classes.

Activity Camps

Woodcote Juniors will receive priority booking (for 24 hours) for the very popular Activity Camps which take place during the school holidays – as well as a 15 per cent discount.

This expanding programme of fun, day-long camps makes full use of Woodcote Park’s facilities and grounds to include a range of sports and activities.

Classes

The wide range of facilities at Woodcote Park enables a variety of classes to be provided throughout the year, including squash from beginner to advanced, tennis from five years upwards, swimming from 18 months (with a parent) to advanced and ballet from beginner to Royal Academy of Dance Grade 4.

When the Walled Garden becomes available the programme will be extended to include new subjects such as cookery, photography and art.

Golf

For aspiring young golfers, Woodcote Juniors may play on the Coronation Course with a paying adult member or golf pass holder whenever they wish, free of charge, saving the cost of green fees or a pass.

Woodcote Juniors are also eligible for a complimentary assessment and then, if they have reached an appropriate standard and are over the age of 10, may play unaccompanied, also free of charge. Individual and group coaching sessions for Woodcote Juniors are available throughout the year.

Events

Away from the sports facilities, an expanding programme of over 20 events a year caters for children of all ages and, from January 2020, Woodcote Juniors will receive priority booking and 15 per cent discount for all children’s events in an expanding programme. Fireworks Night, the Christmas Show and Families Day are all established annual favourites, which are complemented by many other events such as the Princesses and Pirates Party and the Halloween Party.
