Over 10 years (1968-78) and with succeeding versions: Series I, Series II, and Series III, 1,227 examples of the luxurious 4-seater GT model the Lamborghini Espada went into production, making it the most widely sold among those models often referred to as ‘classic’ Lamborghini vehicles.
On display here is an example of a Series III car owned by the Lamborghini Museum.
A new restoration of the car was undertaken by Lamborghini Polo Storico. It commenced in August 2017 and was completed by May 2018. The chassis, body, electrical system, and mechanics of the Espada have been restored using ‘Lamborghini Original Spare Parts’ exclusively. And in doing so it has been brought the car back to original factory readiness according to contemporary production sheets preserved in the Polo Storico Archive.
