Old Course

We are pleased to announce that the online sign-up for this event opens on Saturday 1 November.
Please sign-up with your playing partners in a team of four. Hole allocation for the day will be given closer to the date of the Drive In. There will be a maximum of 36 teams. Once the competition is full you will be placed on a reserve list.
The event will be two separate nine hole individual non-qualifying Stableford competitions. There will be a maximum of 72 players for each nine. Men are to play from the white tees and ladies are to play from the red tees. Please play off your Course Handicap.
One event will play the loop of one to nine with the other playing the loop ten to eighteen. The competition will be played on the Old Course with a shotgun start at 9.30am. Please can teams starting from a hole with (a) tee off at 9.35am.
This nine hole competition is open to all Pass Holders with a WHS handicap. Prior to playing, please collect your scorecard from Golf Reception. Five-day Pass Holders may play but will be required to pay the appropriate green fee on the day.
The incoming Men’s and Ladies’ Captains will drive-in after the competition. The Chairman of Golf will announce them on the tee at approximately 12.30pm. Once we have all witnessed these two perfect drives, all Pass Holders who have played in the competition will be invited back to the Cedar Room for refreshments when your new 2025/26 Captains will be formally announced to the room. Please note that golf shoes are not permitted in the Cedar Room.
The entry fee will be £15.00 per person. The last day to cancel from the competition will be Wednesday 26 November. After this time, you will be charged the full amount.
