BRITS v IRISH v EUROPE v REST OF THE WORLD

Sign-up for this competition is available from Friday 16 January on the notice board opposite Golf Reception. The last time to sign up is Friday 20 February.
There will be four teams of 12 players under the leadership of:
Richard Wolsey (Brits: Welsh, Scots and English)
Garth Harbison (Irish: both North and the Republic)
Lloyd Reeve (Europe)
Simon Grint (The Rest of the World)
Team Captain’s will choose teams and notify players by Friday 27 February.
Please meet at 7.30am for tea and coffee in the 19th Hole. Tee times commence from the 1st and 10th tee at 8.30am with teams announced at 7.45am.
A two-course meal will be served between 2.30-3.00pm in the 19th Hole. Please email golfoperations@royalautomobileclub.co.uk with any dietary requirements.
All players must wear team colour hats which will be provided to you on the day.
The format is 12 a side. The competition is single Stableford played in four balls (non-qualifying) playing off your Course Handicap. You can play off your preferred tee (white, yellow and red) with a joker to be played once on the front 9 and once on the back 9.
The joker will double the Stableford score on each chosen hole. The holes must be nominated before the round begins.
Entry fee is £57.15 per person which include tea and coffee on arrival, a two-course meal, prizes and hats. Prizes will be awarded to the winning team with the most team Stableford points. A salver will also be presented to the team who wins between the Brits and the Irish.
The losing teams will split the cost of the wine.
No one is to make any comments about or disclose any scores before or after lunch. If they do fines or a loss of points may be the result.
Please bring cash for the inevitable fines throughout the day which will go to the Captains’ Charity, The Royal Marsden.
