The Club’s Ski group aims to bring skiing and snowboarding members together and arranges annual ski trips for all to enjoy. The group is open to any member who is interested in snow sports whatever your level or ability.
Val d’Isère February 2022
I am pleased to say that we are launching our 2022 skiing season with a return to our favourite resort Val d’Isère and our sixth year to the lovely Savoie Hotel which is ideally situated in the middle of the village and a few minutes walk to the slopes. We always take a large party to Val d’Isère and there have never been any complaints about the quality of the rooms and the excellence of the food.
We leave on Saturday 26 February with an afternoon flight from Gatwick which will get us to our destination well in time for dinner. We return late afternoon on Saturday 5 March discussing nearly seven days full skiing.
We have available Classique balcony rooms all ensuite at £1590.00pp to include flights, transfers and full board, apart from lunch which we take on the mountain each day. This represents excellent value compared with what is on offer elsewhere.
Avoriaz February 2022
We depart on Sunday 6 February with a BA scheduled flight from Gatwick, returning with a late flight on Thursday 10 February thus giving us four full days of uninterrupted skiing. The chalet is ski-in and out and a few minutes walk to the centre of the village with masses of apres-ski entertainment. All rooms are of course ensuite and are priced at lower level £910.00 and ground floor level £965.00 This price includes full board (apart from lunch which we have normally on the mountain) including tea when we return and wine with our evening meal, transfers and flights.
Méribel March 2022
Our first visit to the Pont du Cam chalet was exceptional and apart from the luxurious rooms, the chalet abounds with additional facilities such as outside Jacuzzi, inside sauna and gym, cinema room, pool table etc. It also benefits from being a very few minutes gentle walk to the slopes. Méribel is of course part of the famous three valleys and has some of the largest and finest ski areas in Europe.
We leave on Sunday 13 March from Heathrow on a scheduled BA flight to Geneva, where our transfer bus will be waiting for us. We return on Thursday 17 March on the late flight, thus guaranteeing us four full days skiing. Full board is included with afternoon tea when we return from the slopes and excellent wines with dinner. We arrange our own lunch when normally we meet together at a restaurant on the mountain.
