Bridge is played at both clubhouses and is open to all members and their guests. It is played in a friendly and relaxed manner and players of all standards are welcome, including beginners.

Bridge Online

Bridge at the Club has currently moved online, using Bridge Base Online (BBO).

If you have not used BBO before, please click on this link where you will find instructions on how to register and produce a user ID and password.

Pall Mall

Two regular sessions have been established for Club members on Bridge Base Online (BBO): Thursdays at 1.00pm and Sundays at 11.00am.

If you would like to play more, or at different times, you can also play against members of other, similar clubs. Please look on the St James Calendar on BBO for the full schedule of games.

Once you are set up, just let Nicole Cook (the Club’s Bridge Director at Pall Mall) at know when you will be playing – as well as your partner of course! Registration for each game opens 30 to 60 minutes before play commences.

Woodcote Park

A Woodcote Park Online Duplicate is held online at 6.30pm every Monday using Bridge Base Online.

If you already have a user ID for the site, you can use the same one for our Monday Bridge. Once you have a user ID, please send it to Nigel Matthew at along with your EBU number to enable him to add you to our virtual club.

You will need to send Nigel these details even if you are already registered as he needs to add all those who wish to play onto the Woodcote Park Bridge database. If you do not have an EBU number he can enrol you if you send him your address, postcode and telephone number.

There will be a charge of BBO$3, which is the same as US$3, per session and these can be purchased on the website.
