The Club’s Strategy
The Club’s strategic goals are that, by 2025, the Club will have:
Above all other goals, sustained our reputation as one of the foremost private members’ club in the world with high standards and a thriving, enthusiastic and influential membership whose composition reflects the Club’s ethos.
Renovated and refurbished the Pall Mall clubhouse, conserving and retaining the best of the Club’s heritage, having secured the long-term tenancy and seized opportunities for expansion whilst evolving imaginatively to remain in step with contemporary society.
Transformed Woodcote Park into a true “Country Club”, as a centre for member sport, leisure and family activity and events, equipped with a fit-for-purpose clubhouse and a comprehensive suite of well-used and relevant facilities.
Sustained clubhouse operations at a recognisably professional standard of excellence, so that both clubhouses are well-led and managed by highly motivated and integrated staff, underpinned by coherent and effective information management systems.
Reinforced the Club’s heritage as the “UK Spiritual Home of Motoring”, wielding influence through convening and hosting national motoring events, conducting motoring activities across the spectrum of interests and through providing access to the Club’s archive and historic motoring fleet.
Whilst retaining the confidence of the membership through transparent and effective governance.
The Club Development Plan
The Club’s Development Plan outlines how the Club is to achieve the strategic goals, principally through the renovation and development of facilities in both Pall Mall and Woodcote Park.
