The Hanging Room is the Club's art, photography and exhibition space, with room for around 30 hangings and a small area for sculpture or ceramics. This visually exciting area, a busy thoroughfare in the Club, allows members the chance to view and purchase from up to nine exhibitions throughout the year.

The Club Shop stocks a wide range of newspapers, magazines and tobacco. Umbrellas, ties, scarves, and cufflinks, all featuring the Club logo, are also on sale. Stock changes from season to season, with gift items for Christmas and birthdays, Easter chocolate or Valentine’s Day treats. The Club also produces an annual Christmas card, featuring well know Club scenes and cartoonists and can supply foreign currency when ordered in advance.

Within one of the leading motoring libraries in the country, members can relax and work in a peaceful atmosphere, undertake research, and catch up with a wide range of newspapers and periodicals. Members can also bring in their own notebook, or use one of the Club's laptops or desktops. On the motoring side, there is an extensive in-house catalogue (accessed by staff); but there are other sections too, including general reference, the arts, biography, business, history, travel, classic and contemporary literature. Many of these items can be borrowed straightaway or by arrangement with the Librarian, who is also on hand to help a Member with any enquiry.
