Swimming

  • ‘It only hurt once, from beginning to end’. James Counsilman, after swimming the English Channel aged 58

The Club’s famous swimming pool was restored in 2003 retaining its original Grecian inspired features, mosaics and marble columns. Along with recreational swimming and aqua aerobics, there are training nights, competitions and fixtures against other clubs along with social events. Professional coaching for those looking to hone their technique is also available.

Fixtures versus other London clubs take place throughout the year. If you’re a keen swimmer and interested in taking part, please email Michael Hufton at Michael@hufton.net
