How to get involved
Bridge is played every Monday evening at 7.00pm: Duplicate on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Mondays and Chicago on 2nd and 4th. On Chicago evenings a Standby partner is available for any members who attend without a pre-arranged partner. Members pay £1.00 and guests pay £10.00 each time they play. Social Evenings
These are held twice a year: in summer and late autumn. They consist of dinner followed by Chicago bridge and have proved very popular. The summer social is an informal evening but the autumn one is a formal black-tie event.
Ladies Bridge Afternoons at Woodcote Park
Ladies Rubber Bridge is played on the last Monday of the month. For more information contact: Mrs Denise Lux on 01372 386322 or alternatively just come along and enquire at Reception.
Interclub Team Competitions
Woodcote Park enters teams in the Surrey leagues and the Kingswood golf/bridge league. In addition teams are entered in the London Trophy which is a knock-out competition for non-bridge clubs in the London area and other suburbs. Basic Acol rules strictly apply which means that many popular conventions are barred. In the early rounds teams play on a zonal basis thereby keeping travelling to a minimum. Moreover teams knocked out in the first round may enter the plate. Friendly matches consisting of 12 aside are played against other clubs.
Other Competitions
There are a number of other competitions which are open to all players on the night. These include the Surrey Simultaneous pairs, played in September and February each year. These are duplicate competitions but the Club also holds a Chicago event each year for which all members may compete i.e. the “Bridge with Friends” trophy.

Thursday 7 June HOME to Roehampton 6.00pm for 6.30pm to include dinner. Teams of 12
Thursday 4 October AWAY to Roehampton.
League Matches:
There are currently no league matches scheduled.
