Woodcote Park

  • Woodcote Park has two tables for general use by members and their guests. Activities include Singles and Doubles Knockout Competitions, and matches throughout the year against other clubs. Other social occasions are arranged such as supper evenings where mini knockouts and alternative games are played.

A great way to get involved in the snooker room or to get a game in is to come along to Club Night, which is on every Wednesday evening from 7.30pm. All the regular players meet up, play each other and have an enjoyable evening of snooker. Members who are new to the room or would like to join in and have other members to play against are very welcome to come down and join in for a guaranteed game.

You must have a handicap to enter these competitions. Entry to each competition is £5.00. The next competition starts in October 2010. To enter email peterjbennett1@btinternet.com

    How to get a handicap
Come down to the Billiards Room at Woodcote Park on a Wednesday evening where there will be members of the Handicap Committee available to assess your play and give you the appropriate handicap.

  • The Billiards Room at Woodcote Park is pleased to offer a ladies session on Thursday evenings from 7.00pm – 9.00pm. Any ladies interested, please contact Sula Williams on Sula@brooklag.net or 01306 631309.

  • To maintain a harmonious atmosphere in the Billiards Room at both clubhouses there are a number of rules we ask members to observe:

The room has to be kept at an acceptable noise level
No chalk on the wood surrounding the table
No smoking or drinking over the snooker tables
No flipping coins on the snooker tables
Try to avoid walking in front of a player who is taking a shot
At Woodcote Park the cover on the snooker table should be removed neatly by being folded into a small rectangle and placed on the bench under the trophy cabinet for table one or on the rack provided by table two.
