The Pall Mall Billiards Room, located beyond the Long Bar, has five full-size period billiard and snooker tables and is open seven days a week from 8.00am to 10.45pm.
Professionals are present Monday to Friday from 12 noon - 10.45pm. For those members wishing to play on weekends/mornings, the key can be requested from the Hall Porters desk. After usual closing time at 10.45pm, the room can only remain open if a member of the committee is present.
There are regular knockout competitions, ladders and tournaments, along with social events and fixtures against other clubs. Professional coaching is available.

Coaching is available from the Snooker Professionals, Katie Henrick and Martin O'Donnell for those who want to learn or improve the level of their game. Lessons are for one hour and with Katie the cost is £15.00 for a single lesson or £25.00 for a double lesson (2 people). A lesson with Martin costs £12.00 or £18.00. Package lessons are also available, offering 3 or 5 groups of lessons.
To gain a handicap simply come down to the Billiards Room where the Professionals, Katie or Martin, will be happy to assess your play and give you the appropriate handicap. This should only take 30 minutes. There is a current handicap list on the notice board in the Snooker Room, where you can always check your handicap or that of other members.

The Billiards Room is proud to have lady members enjoying the game and Club competitions. Three times a year we have a Ladies Evening from 7.00pm to 9.00pm, with free coaching available - a great social evening for snooker playing lady members to meet up and play each other.
There are two main groups of competitions. Autumn competitions (August – December) and spring competitions (January – June). You must have a handicap to enter these competitions. Entry to each competition is £5.00

Ladder Competitions are run in the summer and winter and run for several weeks. The aim is to get to the top by challenging the opponent above you and if you win you take their place. The loser will drop down one to below the opponent that has beaten them. The top four players in the Ladder have a play off to win the Ladder Prize. Entry is £10.00 and the winner takes the pot to spend in the Club.

To maintain a harmonious atmosphere in the Billiards Room at both clubhouses there are a number of rules we ask members to observe:
The room has to be kept at an acceptable noise level
No chalk on the wood surrounding the table
No smoking or drinking over the snooker tables
No flipping coins on the snooker tables
Try to avoid walking in front of a player who is taking a shot
At Woodcote Park the cover on the snooker table should be removed neatly by being folded into a small rectangle and placed on the bench under the trophy cabinet for table one or on the rack provided by table two.
