The 3rd Tuesday is the popular Round Robin tournament where members and guests play 3 point matches. Entry is £10.00 for members and £15.00 for guests. All monies go into the prize fund. Complimentary refreshments are served midway through the evening.
The remaining Tuesdays are given over to friendly chouettes or one on ones. Please do come along even if you have never played before as there will always be someone happy to show you the basics. Hope to see you there.

The London Club s Backgammon League is a friendly competition between various private members clubs. The London League is an opportunity to enjoy reciprocal hospitality with those clubs that participate and to meet backgammon players from practically every level. Current London Legaue Rankings
The late Edward Baliszewski (former Chairman of the Clubs s Backgammon Committee) was the founding father of the London Club s Backgammon League. The London League trophy renamed the Edward Baliszewski London League Backgammon Trophy in his honour and as a tribute to all that he did for the game in our Club and in London, was won by the Club in the 2005/2006 and 2006/2007 seasons. The League s spirit is a healthy combination of sociability and competitiveness. If you are interested in playing in the London League next season please contact backgammon@royalautomobileclub.co.uk or telephone 020 7747 3295.
There is also the possibility of other clubs joining the London League. They should be clubs of good standing, of similar calibre to those that already participate and able to field a regular team of at least 6 keen backgammon players. If you have connections with a club that would be a suitable candidate please contact one of the Backgammon Committee members.
The Backgammon 32 is a quarterly backgammon tournament held at Pall Mall and open to Backgammon Circle members and guests.
The '32' has become a well-known event in London and attracts some excellent players, but is very much a social event, so you don't need to be a backgammon genius to participate. Provided you can play at reasonable speed (i.e. get through a 5 point match before dinner!) the '32' (so called because it is set up for up to 32 players) offers an excellent chance to participate in a well organized tournament and play some top names in a friendly atmosphere, with everyone guaranteed two games. Recent winners include members Anya Bloom and Gordon Rodgers.
The cash entry fee of £35.00 includes a buffet supper and a welcome drink, and funds the cash prizes for the winner and runner-up of both the main and consolation tournaments.
The draw takes place at 6.30pm and play starts promptly at 7.00pm.
Backgammon 32 dates for 2012:
